The Crew of Anton in Show Business

These are the unsung heroes of play production, without whom, no magic would happen!

Megan Palagi (Director) is a director and actor based in Napa, California.  She graduated from the Drama Department of San Francisco State University.  Directing credits include short plays Counting the Ways (2017), Drama Should Stay on the Stage (2017), The Golden Years (2016), The Marriage Game (2016), and Timmy Perlmutter Goes Flying (2015) for Lucky Penny’s 8×10 Play Festivals; All in the Timing and Ouroboros at SFSU.  Megan is honored to be directing Anton in Show Business!  She is proud and inspired by the mission of Valley Players.  Thank you to the cast and crew for their creativity and energy.  It has been a pleasure.  Many thanks to Megan’s multiple families and communities for their support, love and friendship.

Rob Barlow (Co-Stage Manager) is honored to be working for the first time behind the scenes and continuing his passion for all things involving the process of theater. Rob was last seen in Lucky Pennys’ “8X10s” and Upstage Napa Valleys production of Handle With Care as Terrence. His favorite role is Captain Treville in Napa Conservatory Theater’s production of The Three Musketeers. Thank you to all the amazing women in this production and to everyone who supports local theater.

Robert Silva (Co-Stage Manager) discovered his love for the arts at an early age in Napa Children’s Theater’s production of Annie. He continued his passion for the arts, participating in Napa High School marching band and choir. He was introduced to community theater in 2004 in the Dreamweaver’s production of Bus Stop. Since then he has been involved in several productions with The Napa Valley Conservatory Theater, Napa Valley Playhouse and Lucky Penny Productions. While most of his experience has been on stage, his other credits include Director, Stage Manager, and Tech Nerd. He is delighted to be working with a great cast and crew and always looks forward to his next project. Robert would like to sincerely thank his family and friends for all of their continued support.

Lu Kenmonth (Lighting Technician) comes from a family of thespians and musicians, so being a part this new theater group feels like home. When she’s not teaching 2nd graders in her day job, she can be found working back stage, creating scenery or in the lights/sound booth. She wishes all our actors much success with this show, Break-a-leg everyone!

Ken Boyd (Set Piece Construction) built the sets for Dreamweavers Theater and Napa High School for many years. We were so happy when he volunteered to build our door – nice to know it is “Boyd-Built”!

David Holmes (Stagehand) works as a real estate agent for Coldwell Banker. He was once a guest Olson for Dreamweavers Theater’s 2007 production of Laura.

Devin Leaman (Stagehand) works as a Jr. Software Engineer for SAPIEN Technologies, Inc. When he is not immersing himself in all things technology, he enjoys snuggling with his cat, Muffin, and adding to his collection of funny Trump memes.

Paul Marciniak (Stagehand) is currently retired and enjoying life with his wife, Marjean. Paul was one of the original founders of Dreamweavers Troupe way back in 1978! He appeared in many of their early plays. Coincidentally, his last stage performance was here at Lincoln theater in Dreamweavers’ production of Murder in Company.
