The Cast of Women in Jeopardy!

Miles Ainley (Trenner) is thrilled to be working with Richard and Valley Players. He began his acting career at Napa Valley College where he worked consistently on the stage playing roles such as le Beau, Silvius, Hymen (As You Like It), Angelo (A Comedy of Errors) Sphinx (Kalos Kai Agathos) and D’artagnan (Three Musketeers – choreographed by Richard Pallaziol). Miles studied acting in New York City at William Esper Studio which focuses on the work of Sanford Meisner. Most recently Miles worked with Michael Ross at Sonoma Arts Live playing Officer Klein in Arsenic and Old Lace.

Cassandra Anderson

Cassandra Anderson (Amanda Takin) is ecstatic to be working with Valley Players for the first time. She began pursing her passion for theatre with Shakespeare Napa Valley two and a half years ago. Some of her favorite roles include Rosalind in As You Like It (Shakespeare Napa Valley) and Shelby Latcherie in Steel Magnolias (Bay Area Stage). Cassandra is grateful to be a part of this wonderful and talented team.

Christina Julian (Liz Takin) studied acting at Uta Hagen’s HB Studios in New York City where she performed off, off, off Broadway and at the New York Comedy Club. Warm weather beckoned her to Los Angeles where she was a member of the Knightsbridge Theater Company. Favorite local performances include God of CarnageFarce of Habit, Black Tie, The Dining Room, and Sylvia. Beyond the “boards” Christina is a journalist whose work has appeared in the Washington Post, LA Times,San Francisco ChronicleNapa Valley Register, Wine EnthusiastNorth Bay BizBohemian, and WeddingsCalifornia. Her debut novel, The Dating Bender, was released in 2017, and played a heavy-handed role in her depiction of boy-crazy Liz, for this production. Loretta Long (Jo Sharp),  a native Napan,  has been performing onstage both locally and throughout the Pacific Northwest for 45 years. She earned a B.A. in Theater Arts from B.Y.U. Some favorite comedic roles she has played include: Lady Bracknell in The Importance of Being Earnest, Maria in Twelfth Night, Scuttle in The Little Mermaid, Adam in As You Like It, Ouiser in Steel Magnolias, and Midge in Living Dolls at Salt Lake Acting Co. This is Loretta’s first appearance with Valley Players!!

Richard Pallaziol (Jackson Scull/Sergeant Sponsüllar) studied theatre at CSU Long Beach and the American Conservatory Theatre in San Francisco, and has acted on-and-off since 1974. Among other venues, as an actor he has performed at the Herbst Theatre in San Francisco, TheatreFirst in Berkeley, Marin Shakespeare Festival, Grove Shakespeare in Southern California, Cinnabar Theater in Petaluma. Some favorite roles were as Macbeth, Cyrano de Bergerac, King Louis in The Three Musketeers, Salieri in Amadeus, and as Richard in The Lover – Valley Players’ very first production!

June Alane Reif (Mary Forney) has a B.A. in Theater, Interpretation and Communication from Louisiana State University, furthered her acting studies in San Jose at the San Jose Repertory Theatre and in private classes with Ed Hooks and Barbara Titus. She is also a graduate of Bay Area TheatreSports in San Francisco. She was last seen onstage in the Napa Valley as Kim Kelly and Hanover in Jerry Levitin’s I’d Kill for a Parking Place and in San Francisco at the Shelton Theatre as Susan in Rod McFadden’s staged reading of Golden Years. Some of her favorite theatrical roles include Sarah in The Lover, the various characters of Parallel Lives (The Kathy & Mo Show), Mac in Three Viewings, Elvira in Blithe Spirit and Bella in Lost in Yonkers.
