Valley Players is a community-based group from the Napa Valley. Our focus is to produce quality affordable live theater from plays of both the classic and contemporary genres that provide roles for women over 40 and enrich the lives of theater-goers and theater-makers of all ages and genders.
Naturally, the plays will also have roles for men and younger women. Women, in general, and older women, in particular, are traditionally under-represented both on and off stage, even though they comprise the majority of theater audience members.
We strive to include as many women as possible in each aspect of live theatrical production – from writing to acting to directing to design and much more! Experienced women continue to be a powerful, expressive, and enduring voice in our society, and that voice is needed now more than ever.
It is our joy to bring live theater to the Napa Valley community.
