Ladies' Briefs
Time to join the fun of live theatre! Valley Players is happy to announce audition dates for their upcoming production of Ladies’ Briefs! These ten brand-new short plays offer 25 roles for female-identifying actors and 4 roles for male-identifying actors ranging in ages from 20s to 80+ with the majority of those roles falling in the 40s-60s category. Two of the ‘male’ roles are voice only and could be pre-recorded. Monday and Wednesday, August 23 and 25 at 7 pm. at the Lucky Penny Community Arts Center in Napa. Covid closed that down for us, but we are still excited about presenting them in the future! We read the many submissions of unproduced original work written by women for Ladies’ Briefs and chose the most bold and innovative plays especially for our audience! Valley Players is seeking short play submissions for “Ladies’ Briefs”—short plays by women, about women. “Ladies’ Briefs” will be a two-week performance run of five to eight short plays to be produced October 30 - November 8 of 2020. So, we want to see your briefs—bold and innovative plays written by women. We are seeking unproduced, original work, written by women.
