The Crew of Farce of Habit

Megan Palagi (Director) is a director and actor based in Napa, California. She is happy to join Valley Players for a second time, having previously directed Anton in Show Business in 2017. Megan holds a Bachelor of Arts in Drama from San Francisco State University. She has performed both onstage and in film, and she has enjoyed stage direction all through high school, college and beyond. Outside of theatre, Megan works as an event coordinator and also trains and performs aerial silks. Thank you to the cast and crew of Farce of Habit for the energy and heart they have brought to this production. Many thanks to Megan’s wonderful friends and family for their love and support!

Ariel Loraine (Stage Manager) is a transplant to the Bay Area from Toronto, Canada. She completed her BFA in Theater Design at Concordia University and has worked with many independent theater companies and festivals in Montreal and Toronto, as well as with corporations handling event production, and exhibit and display design and manufacture, including design and fabrication for Urban Outfitters. She is a designer, woodworker, artist, and technician, who has created sets for the Cafeteria Kids musicals at the Lincoln Theater, and served as Production Assistant for Napa Shakes. Ariel designs and builds exhibits at the Napa Valley Museum, and manages the Museum’s programs and events. It is a pleasure for her to serve with the Valley Players and support performing arts in the Napa Valley!

Lauren Haugen (Assistant Stage Manager) had the pleasure of acting with Valley Players in The Old Friends as the maid. Prior to that she was in Brighton Beach Memoirs, The Other Place and Goldfish with UpStage Napa Valley. Her first acting role since moving to Napa Valley in 2010 was as Veta in Harvey with the Napa Valley Playhouse. This is her first venture as Assistant Stage Manager. It’s a great learning experience with a wonderful and supportive ensemble. Thanks ARI!

Rhonda Bowen (Set Designer) designed the set for Valley Players’ production of Ordinary Day last fall, and was thrilled to once again be asked to head the design team for the set of Farce of Habit. She feels privileged to work with this talented and dedicated group, as well as within this amazing space. She is deeply grateful to all those who volunteered their considerable time and energy to bring the Reel ‘Em Inn to “life.”

Michael Rada (Assistant Set Designer) is new to this field. Has lived and worked in Napa Valley for over 30 years as a practicing Architect designing various residential, commercial and winery projects His first experience with live theater was as a cast member of Follies du Valle (while existing) at the Lincoln Theatre.

Lu Kenmonth (Lighting Design/Technician) is a 2nd grade teacher at an Arts integration school in Napa. Lu has produced and directed five children’s musical theater productions including Disney’s Aladdin, The Jungle Book and Annie. She was actively involved for years at Dreamweavers’ community theater in Napa, and currently is a board member for Valley Players.

Nick Kenmonth (Sound Design/Technician) has done the sound design for several Valley Players productions, Break a leg everyone!
