Thanks to all from Valley Players

The Napa Register, Letter to the Editor, June Alane Reif, February 14, 2018

Once again, Valley Players has had a successful run at the Napa Valley Performing Arts Center at Lincoln Theater. We feel we cannot thank them enough for their generosity and kindness. We are also grateful to the Arts Council Napa Valley for the grant that helped us produce “Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike.”

There are always many organizations and people who come together to create art, but we feel these two organizations deserve our special thanks — not just for what they did for Valley Players, but what they do for our community as a whole.

We can’t possibly thank all the people involved, but feel that there are three who deserve special mention. Lu Kenmonth who served as co-director, technical director and lighting tech; she wears a lot of hats. Paul Marciniak who stepped up to be our Stage Manager — even though he had never performed those duties before — and did a bang-up job. And Sandra Lovelace, who was asked at the last minute to help finish up the costumes and dress the set, using some of her own furniture, I might add.

Kudos to all who made “Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike” a great success — and that includes everyone who came to see it.
